What is Competency Mapping?
This includes designing the framework derived from the VMV structure as well as mapping individuals/JDs on the framework.
Depending on the objective of the exercise, the tasks may include:
Reviewing the current JDs, policies and existing frameworks
Designing the key competencies, derived from values and creating behavioral indicators against each competency for each hierarchical level e.g. Individual Contributor, People Manager and Senior Leadership.
Linking each competency to each position
Assessing individuals and mapping them onto the competency matrix
